Event Security – Wonder Ballroom – Part-time – Pay Rate: $20 per hour DPSST certified or willing to get certified after working interview.
Job Description: The Wonder Ballroom is looking for friendly, outgoing people to join our security team. Wonder Ballroom is a mid-size music venue, hosting all different genres of bands and musicians. We are looking for individuals who love music but also want to help others enjoy live shows all while facilitating the safety of patrons, bands, and staff. There are no designated positions; everyone is trained on all positions. Hours vary, shifts usually start in the evening and can go late.
This job requires:
– Full vaccination
– Experience in working with the public
– The ability to multi-task and learn quickly
– Being able to help in setting up and tearing down equipment every shift
– Willing to be outside, if necessary, rain or shine
– Ability to go up and down stairs often and repeatedly
– DPSST certification is not a requirement to be hired, but willingness to get certified in the future is a necessity
– Medical Training always a plus!
